Angry Boys is an Australian mockumentary with controversial comedic value. Its definitely an interesting mash-up of character portrayals and stereotypes that will either offend you or make you laugh. New Hip Hop? Asian tiger mom? gay? disabled? All that and more.
Chris Lilley created, wrote and stars (multiple roles) in the series that “explores the issues faced by young males in the 21st century.” He portrays a variety of characters: “S.mouse, an American rapper; Jen, a manipulative Japanese mother; Blake Oakfield, a champion surfer; Ruth “Gran” Sims, a guard at a juvenile detention facility; and her grandchildren, South Australian twins Daniel and Nathan Sims.”
aparoo says 4/5, comedic genius.. maybe, provocative satire.. definitely
