The Housemaid (2010) – Korean Movie – Review

I didn’t expect The Housemaid to be a thriller at all but it delivered more or less. Deep intimacies and dark implications ensue as a wealthy family gets a new housemaid and the husband has an affair with her. Its a remake of a well-known 1960’s film with modern adaptions.

This film goes down a half erotic and half sensual path to depict desire and point at perdition. Jeon Do-yeon once again has an acclaimed performance and brings life to the movie — and character by blurring the line between innocence and temptation.
